The 2025 Masters tournament might be in the books. But the tale of the tape at Augusta National will also make for good conversation. While Hideki Matsuyama might not have been able to replicate his 2021 winning form at the Masters, his performance has left an increbile mark on the stats sheet, as these mathematical revelations would have suggested.
Matsuyama led the field in Greens in Regulation at 80.56%, posting a final round 66, which was tied for the best round on Sunday and featured just 29 putts.
He drove an average of 300.8 yards over four days, hitting 41 of 56 fairways, placing him in 21st place in driving distance, which Bryson DeChambeau topped.
Over four rounds, Matsuyama made two of four sand saves and marked his cards with one eagle, 13 birdies, 47 pars, nine bogeys and two double bogeys.
